Dental Crowns and Bridges at Picasso Dental Clinic
Picasso Dental Clinic provides dental crowns and bridges fabricated in premium dental laboratories at our clinic in Hanoi, Vietnam. Whether you need a single crown to protect a damaged tooth or a multi-unit bridge to replace missing teeth, our restorative dentists use zirconia, E.max, and porcelain-fused-to-metal materials to deliver strong, natural-looking results at 50–70% less than comparable treatment in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia.
Crown and Bridge Treatments
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a full-coverage restoration that fits over a damaged, decayed, or weakened tooth to restore its shape, strength, and appearance. Crowns are also placed over dental implants to complete the final restoration.
Picasso Dental Clinic offers three crown materials:
Zirconia crowns — the most durable option, with flexural strength exceeding 1,000 MPa. Suitable for both anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth, including high-chewing-load areas. Zirconia crowns have a natural, tooth-like appearance and are metal-free.
E.max lithium disilicate crowns — premium aesthetic option for front teeth, offering superior translucency that closely mimics natural tooth enamel. E.max crowns have a flexural strength of approximately 400 MPa and a published survival rate of over 94% at 5 years in peer-reviewed literature.
Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns — a metal core with a porcelain outer layer. Highly durable and cost-effective, though may show a dark margin at the gum line over time. Suitable for posterior teeth where strength is prioritised over aesthetics.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth using crowns on the adjacent teeth (abutments) as support, with a false tooth (pontic) suspended between them. Bridges are a fixed, non-removable tooth replacement option that restore appearance and chewing function.
Picasso Dental Clinic fabricates 3-unit, 4-unit, and longer-span bridges using zirconia, E.max, and PFM materials depending on the position in the mouth and patient preferences.
Dentures
Full and partial dentures for patients who require replacement of multiple or all teeth. Picasso Dental Clinic provides conventional dentures as well as implant-retained dentures for improved stability. For patients with missing teeth across an entire arch, implant-retained dentures or All-on-4 dental implants may be more appropriate long-term solutions.

Crown and Bridge vs Dental Implants
Dental bridges are a proven tooth replacement option, but require the adjacent teeth to be prepared (reduced) to serve as abutment crowns. For patients with healthy adjacent teeth, a dental implant may be preferable as it preserves the neighbouring teeth and functions independently. Your dentist at Picasso Dental Clinic will recommend the best option for your situation based on bone levels, adjacent tooth health, and treatment goals.
