Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the provision of dental services by Serenity International Dental Clinic, located at 16 Chau Long, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, Vietnam. By receiving treatment at our clinic, you agree to the following terms.
General
Serenity International Dental Clinic provides dental treatment in accordance with accepted international dental standards and evidence-based clinical practices. All treatments are performed by qualified, licensed dental professionals.
These terms apply to all patients, including local and international patients, who receive dental treatment at Serenity International Dental Clinic.
Appointment Policies
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked by phone (+84 93 199 9989), WhatsApp, email (info@serenitydentalclinic.com), or through our website. We recommend booking in advance, especially for international patients coordinating treatment with travel schedules.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. We ask that patients provide at least 24 hours notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may affect future scheduling priority.
For international patients with complex treatment plans, we ask for as much advance notice as possible if travel plans change so that we can adjust the treatment schedule accordingly.
Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your appointments. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible. Late arrivals may result in shortened appointment times to avoid delays for subsequent patients.
Treatment Consent
Informed Consent
Before any treatment begins, your dentist will explain the proposed procedure, expected outcomes, potential risks and complications, alternative treatment options, and estimated costs. You will be asked to provide informed consent before treatment proceeds.
Informed consent is obtained for each treatment procedure. You have the right to ask questions, request additional information, or decline any proposed treatment.
Treatment Plans
Treatment plans provided by Serenity International Dental Clinic, whether during an online consultation or in-person examination, are based on the clinical information available at the time. Final treatment plans may be adjusted following a comprehensive in-person examination if clinical findings differ from initial assessments.
Any changes to the treatment plan, including scope or cost, will be discussed and approved by you before work proceeds.
Medical History
Patients are required to provide accurate and complete medical history information, including current medications, allergies, pre-existing conditions, and any relevant health concerns. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the safety and outcome of treatment.
Payment Terms
Pricing
All prices quoted by Serenity International Dental Clinic are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on standard treatment complexity and may vary depending on individual case requirements.
Price estimates provided during online consultations are indicative and may be adjusted following an in-person examination.
Payment Methods
Serenity International Dental Clinic accepts the following payment methods:
- Cash (Vietnamese Dong or US Dollars)
- Bank transfer (domestic and international)
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
Payment Schedule
- Initial consultation and diagnostic imaging: Payment due at the time of service
- Single-visit procedures: Payment due upon completion
- Multi-visit treatment plans: Payment may be divided across visits as outlined in your treatment agreement. Deposits may be required for laboratory work such as crowns, veneers, and implant restorations.
- Large treatment plans: Installment arrangements may be available upon discussion with our team
Refund Policy
If treatment has not commenced, any deposit paid will be refunded in full. Once treatment has begun, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and reflect the work and materials already provided.
Liability
Clinical Outcomes
While Serenity International Dental Clinic strives for the best possible outcomes, dental treatment involves inherent risks and individual variability. We do not guarantee specific clinical outcomes. The success of treatment depends on multiple factors, including the patient’s oral health, overall health, adherence to aftercare instructions, and biological factors.
Guarantee Program
Eligible treatments are covered by our Guarantee Program, which provides warranty coverage for defects in materials and workmanship within specified time periods. Full terms of the Guarantee Program are available on our Guarantee Program page.
The Guarantee Program does not cover damage caused by accidents, trauma, neglect, poor oral hygiene, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
Limitation of Liability
Serenity International Dental Clinic’s liability for any claim related to dental treatment is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. We are not liable for indirect costs, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation costs, lost wages, or consequential damages.
Patient Responsibilities
Patients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete medical and dental history information
- Following all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by our clinical team
- Maintaining good oral hygiene as advised
- Attending recommended follow-up appointments
- Wearing prescribed dental appliances (such as night guards or retainers) as directed
- Informing Serenity International Dental Clinic promptly of any issues or concerns following treatment
Privacy and Data Protection
Serenity International Dental Clinic is committed to protecting patient privacy. All personal information, medical records, clinical photographs, and treatment data are stored securely and treated as confidential.
Patient information is used solely for the purpose of providing dental care, maintaining treatment records, and communicating with the patient. We do not share patient information with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.
Clinical photographs may be used for educational or marketing purposes only with the patient’s written consent. Patients can request that their images not be used at any time.
